What does Citalopram Hydrobromide treat?
Citalopram Hydrobromide is an antidepressant and treats depression and related issues. This is a a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It works by bringing back the balance of the brain chemical serotonin. This helps to renew interest in usual activities, remove repeated thoughts of suicide, constant fidgeting and so on. Your physician may use this to treat other ailments based on their discretion.
Follow the Citalopram Hydrobromide dosage prescribed by your physician. The dosage could vary based on individual patient requirements. Always follow your physician’s instructions or go by the directions on the prescription drug label. The recommended initial dose of Citalopram Hydrobromide is 20 mg once daily.
